Hi, I install this switch about 2 weeks ago I notice at night people were flashing their light at me didn't pay much attention why or I thought maybe was not for me, but out off curiosity I ask my wife after I saw something weird that my headlights did on my garage door, my headlights were turning slowly on and off, and when I turn the switch to turn on my dome lights it won't hold on, so I'm not happy with this item I can't drive at night because I don't enjoy making other drivers think what's going on or what I'm trying to messaged them with my headlights, who ever is selling this item it's a defected item. Thank you amazon I know it's not your fault.

Hardest part was getting the switch knob back in.Screwed back into the stock location, hooked up the wires and pulled out the switch to see my lights shining away, turn the knob and dimmed the lights for a better mood.

Worked like a charm until the very next day, I was hit head on by a speeding loon-a-tic. It's truly unbelievable that my 94 Dakota was parked during covid lock down, driven to smog test after vaccines were out, and completely destroyed 20 minutes later.

It works really good, when your going to remove the light switch nob. There is a push release button on the bottom of it so you can take the nob out without struggling in case some of you didnt know i had to look up lots of videos before i found a good one.

Installed within 10 minutes. Super easy. Everything clicked how it should click. The knob to turn on interior lights takes more muscle than the Mopar version, but anyone over 4 years old can do it. Was afraid at first that it wouldn't turn, but once I realized it took more power, it wasn't an issue. Anyway, no major problems up front. The OEM version only lasted 3 years. Let's hope this after market one lasts a little longer.
