I ended up needing a new kit sent to me. the seller responded to me within a few hours and was helpful trying to help me get it to work, but concluded I had a defective part.They shipped a replacement right away and arrived in only 2 business days!New one works perfectly! Tons of power and love the programmability ( definitely adjust the brakes before you run it for the first time they are a little to aggressive even turned down all of the way)

Good on 2s but insane on 3s the wiring is a little janky had to reverse the forward and reverse wires from esc to motor but all good after that. Direct fit for Traxxas slash xl-5 2wd.Everything works as should. I would definitely buy again at the current price. Get the program card if they have one available.

i wanted to do a motor and esc upgrade on one of my rc trucks and wanted another brushless setup with a higher torque motor so i saw this motor and esc combo pop up wanted to try it out.I decided to put this setup in my my traxxas gravedigger 30th anniversary edition which had a very old brushless system in it with lower torque so i started taking the old one off and started putting this new system in it and everything went on perfect even the stock gear that was on the old motor fit right on the new motor shaft and the motor lined up with the motor plate i also like that it came with some double sided tape which worked out perfect mounting the esc. The ony thing i couldn't used was the motor heatsink fan because on these kind of type rcs that the motor is mounted in the rear there is just no room but that's not a problem at all and i can always used it on my other rcs.I tested it out indoors because the weather is to cold here but i hooked up a 7.4 lipo battery to it and turn it on and it came right to life i also like that the esc has a fan built in which the old system didn't have but everything works perfect it has alot of torque and lifts the front wheels right off the floor and it also has good speed also but i mostly wanted more torque cause that's what you want for a truck but the speed is also great and this is ony on a 2s 7.4v lipo i still need to try my 3s batterys when i can run it outdoors which should be fun.It's a really nice brushless system and a perfect upgrade for a older rc or even new rc and its at a perfect price also and it also came with a nice case so you can use it for parts or even the old motor and esc that you replaced it with i was not expecting that so i am glad i picked this brushless combo👍

Just put this in a holyton 1/10 rc. The thing absolutely rips on a 3s. Going to have to run the car on 2s as it’s pretty much uncontrollable with 3s. Not much time on it but the components seem to be quality and feel very solid. The fans move quite a bit of air. Will be using this setup on my next build.
