Man, what a HUGE performance difference!! I added this to my TRX4M along with the 2 Speed Transmission and my god what a beast this thing is. I was smart enough to have upgraded all the rest of the drive train to metal so it could handle all of the extra power. I do, however HIGHLY suggest that you also order a programming card for this system along with this setup.I am very pleased with this product and would recommend this as a more affordable route for making your TRX4M Brushless.

The Brushless system works well with the TRX4m. I've already updated the battery lead to use other batteries, but the original fits prefect with traxxas battery. If you are expecting more low end power, that is accomplished by changing the gearing of the transmission box. Whoever thought the motor was the answer was wrong. Yes you get more power. More power will only work on low end with lower end gearing. That's a $15-20 upgrade and worth it too if you want to be able to crawl at snail pace with wheels turned and articulated.

Impossible to program, weaker than the stock Traxxas brushed system, is it faster yes but low speed crawling absolutely sucks
