This is a nice swab. Unfortunately, the weight is too wide to fit through my old-fashioned one-piece soprano. I'm sure that it works fine for saxophones with removable necks, although I wonder if it would be a problem getting through the neck, which should similar diameter to the narrow end of my sax.Fortunately, I needed a new swab for my alto's neck and mouthpiece, so i will use this to fit that need instead, but I'm now off to buy a different brand of soprano sax swab.
