Absolutely amazing and easy to use. Perfect to use if wanting to keep the quality of base magnification on a digital scope. The raisers came very handy while pairing it with the Holosun TH. Could see it being in use for many other sights. I currently have a Burris sight on my white tail shotgun that I would like the pair the two with.

Can't go wrong with this magnifier it will work very well with any Holosun Red Dot sites. Flips out easily and very well built. Has quick connect to release if necessary. I highly recommend this magnifier for the price!

So I have this mounted behind a Holosun green dot and it functions very well. I like that you can flip it easily when you want, and the mount is reversible so you can flip it either way. Glass is quality and the image is clear. However, I find it very unfortunate that this is made in China. Had I know, I would have avoided Holosun entirely. It appears that most, if not all, of their products are made in China and I will not purchase from them again.

it looks clearer that the picture. it has a good eye relief ( about 2 inches) its lighter and clearer(for my eyes) and cheaper than the PA 3x micro magnifier it replaced, with better eye relief and eye box. I was able to easily remove the screws on the mount ( must be newer upgraded batch) very easily with the included tool. lined it up with the included riser to match the Primary Arms 1x Microprism and i was able to easily focus the prism with the magnifier as well.. Reticle being focused with the magnifier on or off by adjusting the Diopters ( started with the Microprism first and then adjusted the holosun) The screws do have red loc-tite. includes a small riser and extra longer screws for it. i was surprised at the clarity of this magnifier. nice surprise !! keeping it! it works with microprism as i cannot do red dots as they starburst in my eyes.

I paired this to Sig Saurer's Romeo5. I'm new to red dots and learned that I must have an astigmatism because my dot is a bit of a starburst to my eyes. I did the rotation test and that seems to be the case.Anyhow, I mounted the Holosun, which was really easy to do, and I noticed the red dot now looks like a comma (with a dot and then a smear coming off the bottom of the dot). Sig Saurer said this can happen when using magnifiers that aren't theirs (like the Juliet). This could be marketing fluff but the Juliet was much more expensive and I'm not a 'serious' shooter. I can still see the dot pretty clearly and at 100 yards through the Holosun, the dot covers my 4 inch targets so I can be pretty consistent.I did finally realize that parallax is a great issue with a red dot, which was keeping me from being consistent with my shot placement. But that is why I went with a red dot on my AR instead of a traditional scope, because I wanted variety and to learn how to use one. I'm pretty happy overall but I could have spent much less money on a traditional scope and been more accurate at the range, but this setup allows for more flexibility for immediate up close and longer distance shots. I'm happy and would suggest the Holoson for those looking for a magnifier. I wish they made one in a 4x, as that would have been preferred.

Overview:This is a magnifier for use behind a red dot optic and I suspect a holographic type as well but I didn’t have one availableIntended usage and suitability to task:I wanted a magnifier for use behind a trijicon MRO optic. I find that target precision is difficult with my aging eyes beyond 100 yards. The magnifier had to be at least 3x , have a good mount included and be weatherproof. This was not to be in place all the time so a quick release mount would be preferable. Glass clarity was important as it was the main reason for getting one. Eye relief had to be around 3 inches for my setupFunction/appearance/ operation :The unit seems well made. It’s about average in weight compared to the others I had seen ( vortex, primary arms ) the mount was usable and flips to the right which I prefer. Several hard wiggles did not flip it which is nice as I don’t want it flopping around. The glass was clear and I did not notice any odd color casting. I was able to adjust the focus ring easily with glasses and with them off so the range of adjustment was good for my eyes. The magnifier set up well behind my red dot and I did not have to do any adjustments with the vertical or horizontal adjustment. The one drawback with it is when the red dot and magnifier are in place there is no room to mount it if you wish to keep all in the receiver and have a rear backup sight. It was not an issue in my case as I use offset back up sights so it was not an issue.Overall I believe the price was reasonable and it was well made and suitable for its intended usage and if your use / need is similar to mine I can recommend this unit.
