This sensor did not work at all when I installed it in a 2014 VW Tijuana. I know the sensor was bad because upon reinstalling the old one the car at least started up whereas with the new one the car didn't start at all. I would not recommend this product...

Part came on time. I have a 2013 VW CC R-Line 2.0 turbo. It was jerking and stalling arou d 2k rpm. Thought it was accelerator pedal or throttle body, but it was this part. This part has two names, speed sensor or crankshaft position sensor. Had to Remove air pipe from bottom of throttle and top near air duct to get to. Also moved bottom cover under front of car. Was a little odd to get to but once located, took like 40 mins to install and reassemble everything.

My BMW was giving me a lot of trouble, it would hesitate violently while driving, knock, etc. This would cause my BMW engine to cut power as to protect the engine. I didn't think this sensor would be capable of causing all that, but it did. I replaced it relatively easy (If you have the torx socket for the bolt) and my car ran great ever since.
