I was replacing needed parts when replacing the door springs. The parts received were a better quality than the original parts which were plastic. This made installation quick.

It took 1/2 hour for 2 of us to completely replace the cables and pulleys that were worn out and now the door runs great again. make sure to lube the pulleys after install as they do not come pre-lubed

so far so good, appears to be good quality, was exactly the same as I was replacing ... as far as durability goes, just installed it so that is yet to be seen!

The cables worked great. Nice to have a kit with compression sleeves.

It was nice to find a kit that contained all the parts rather than needing to find and order what I needed separately. I had a spring break and of course intended to replace both sides and while at it just redo all the hardware also (if you don't have the time to do it right te first time you'll have to the time to do it over) I cannot say it was easy to install but that is not the fault of the product but the limited space beside my garage door rails, they were as expected. These are certainly up to the demands of a single-width garage door and are probably adequate for a standard double door as well, I think if you have tall or heavy-built double door I'd look for a heavy-duty set this is not a job to do again and again but once in 15 years or 10 years is more like it. I gave a 3-star rating based on two points. Some of the pulleys felt a bit rough when spinning on their bearing, (rougher than the old ones) getting them lubed up with some grease tho took care of it but they should've ran smooth as new. I also noted a construction difference, the sheave pulleys are made from two stampings and attached together, these seemed to be simply staked while my old pulleys had several pins (like a bolt) holding the two stampings together. (where the holes are on these pulleys) Like I said these are probably good for a standard lighter-weight door but being built that way may not hold up well with a heavier door, and the two pieces could seperage due to the tension on the cable. That is why I did not rate these on durability and I will be checking the pulleys every few months for the time being. I will update my review only should a problem develop.
