Everybody has their own reasons for buying anything really. Whether it be a dishrag or an oil filter. Honestly, we bought these because we are unashamedly a couple of fattys. Yeah, fattys. Big ol' large people who have been repeatedly told to well..........stop eating all that crap you're stickin in your pie holes. We are trying to listen. These bowls are exactly one cup. 8 ounces. Which, according to our doctors is what our portion sizes for many things we eat SHOULD be. These are great for that, but I have to tell you these bowls are awesome. They have a nonstick porcelain interior and the lids are sooooo nice. They are microwave safe, even the lids. The lids fit tight and they are vented. The lids go on and off easily but only if you lift up the vent. I think that's because once the vent is snapped down it must create a suction that holds the lid on pretty tight. So keep that in mind. if you find it difficult to remove the lid just make sure the vent is popped up. As a little sidenote, these are perfect to make an egg for a homemade egg mcmuffin.

Very impressed with the color and quality of these dishes. Bought to use for crème brulee, perfect size. Bonus is the covers, allowing for storage of any leftovers.Would definitely buy again! Highly recommend!

Great little ramekin set. We've used them for sauces to have individual sauces for people. We've used them for egg bakes. We've used them for French onion soup. They've done a great job with every thing we've thrown at them. Easy to clean, durable. Happy with the product - may get more since we're having a larger group of people coming to visit soon.

Si tratta di un set di pirottini con coperchio che si presta a differenti applicazioni. Arrivano in una confezione dal design gradevole e dentro hanno un inserto in materiale plastico per evitare che i pirottini sbattano e si danneggino. Il prodotto è di qualità. Io ho provato quelli neri, ma sono disponibili anche in altri colori.Sono utilizzabili in forno e nel microonde, oppure frigo e freezer. Ovviamente il coperchio in forno non va usato, ma questo si capisce intuitivamente. I coperchi sono dotati di guarnizione e si chiudono quasi a pressione, tanto che è necessario usare la valvolina di sfiato per aprirli. Il tappo ha impresso sopra anche un datario per i giorni del mese per monitorare quando abbiamo riposto del cibo nel frigo.Sono impilabili, perché’ il coperchio è sagomato in modo tale da accogliere la base del pirottino sovrastante; inoltre, le potete lavare in lavastoviglie senza problemi (ma non suggerirei di mettere nella lavastoviglie i tappi, perché’ la plastica, col calore dell’acqua tende a deformarsi).Sono eleganti, per cui non sfigureranno in tavola come ciotoline per delle salse, stuzzichini e via dicendo. Il prezzo non è basso, ma tutto sommato il prodotto è valido.

I was very pleased with this item well made and well packaged.The lids are a nice touch, again well made with a vent for microwave use. The date feature is the only downside. Hard to use and only gives day of month would be more useful with month and day settings.However that's a minor issue.Generally good item. Attractive enought to use as serving dish for nibbles ect.
