With the title said ,The engine is a great and quiet 25cc engine. Lot of torque for it's size. Has great power.Has:1 String trimmer2 Edger3 Pruner4 Hedge Trimmer5 Cultivator6 BlowerEach of these attachments are sold separately to give a user the option to use any of these 6 "VersAattach" attachments with this powerhead. Use only Handa attachments for this product. No other manufacturer make attachments for this device, it's proprietary and for a reason. You can rely on Honda making the best quality stuff for this Powerhead. Only Honda Vesattach products should be used and will only work. Other brands won't take that power and torque. This is intended for commercial use and has a one year warranty for it. Home users get a 2 year warranty with this from Honda. Nothing else is built like this machine on the market.With this you get:GC 25 engineBuilt in Shaft for "Versattach" attachments.Don't condemn this product. 1 Engine and up to 6 different attachments for it that are sold separately. I ordered a trimmer, all I received was a power head without a trimmer. What am I supposed to do with the engine? I would not have spent this much money if I knew there was no attachment for a string trimmer. This is the biggest scam I have ever seen. I do not recommend Honda trimmer.

Yes, it’s expensive. Yes, you also have to buy the string trimmer head. But it starts like that, runs all day, and lasts forever. Plenty of power, and no freakin cord to drag around. The only reason I bought this one is because I gave the 16 year old one (which works great) to my son.😀

If it's called a weed eater it should be able to eat weeds. It comes w/o a cutting head. Had to buy separately. Bummed

I have paired this up with its big brother, the Honda UMC435LAAT 25cc 4-Stroke Multi-Tool VersAttach Powerhead, in my landscape maintenance business. I mainly use this unit with the string trimmer head or the hedge trimmer head and it performs great. Have converted all my power equipment over to 4 stroke and no longer have to deal with mixed gas or the other negatives associated with 2 stroke equipment. For me these units are a great choice.

I wish I knew that other brand attachments don't work. If I knew that only Honda attachments were compliant I would not have purchased this as it significantly raised the price for me and that's the only reason for three out five stars rating from me. Attachments are expensive and my Toro attachments were perfectly fine, because of this I can actually only afford the edger at this time and will have to use a manual shears on my hedges for now instead of purchasing a new hedge attachment. So I am a little worse off for it with this purchase:(
