These bobbins work fine in my old Montgomery Ward sewing machine which is essentially a cheaper version of a Singer. One word of caution is to make absolutely certain that you tighten the tension screws to the proper level or you will have problems with obtaining proper thread tension and if the screws are much too loose the machine will not sew at all!

These bobbin cases are inconsistent. Please see the photo. The far left is the original. Three of the new ones were like the one in the middle, and one was like the one on the right. The hole in the case in the right is too small to use on my zigzag machine. The needle hits the case. Though the holes in the other three were not quite as large as the original, they did work on the machine. So, I am giving it a 3/4 times 5 star rating. Beware that many bobbin cases available online suffer from this problem.

I have been looking but was unsure about what would fit my Consew CP146R since the owner's manual gives a proprietary manufacturer part number. I took a chance, since the bobbin case looked like the one I have, and it works perfectly. I can't tell them from the original and now I have spares. The bobbins seem to be exact copies of my originals also.
