Came quick, easy to install and use. I guess it's accurate, don't have another gauge to compare. Would recommend and buy again (not that I would need to, this still works!). Easy to read.

I read some bad reviews on this product where either the schrader valve leaked or the pressure gauge leaked at the threads. The Honeywell G64-030 pressure test gauge I received had both the valve and the pressure gauge threads sealed with what appears to be epoxy. I'm guessing the manufacturer had too many returns and fixed the issue. Thus, I had no problems with leaks.I did have a leak in my propane piping system due to improperly manufactured elbows (the pipe bottomed out before the threads sealed), forcing me to buy the elbows from another manufacturer and completely disassemble and reassemble the entire system (growl!).This was the very reason I purchased this pressure test gauge. I wanted to make sure my propane piping would hold pressure before the inspector discovered it didn't and would charge me for a re-inspection. Now I have confidence that it will pass inspection and confidence there are no propane leaks under the cabin or above floor. For the price, the test gauge is well made and served its purpose as needed. It is a lot less costly than calling a plumber to do a pressure test and will save me $90 for not requiring a re-inspection.

I used this to test a new gas line install. Super accurate it even registered a rise in pressure as the temperature increased outside. Only downside is the gauge is not watertight and during a sudden downpour some water got inside the gauge.

Great product for my needs however make sure you check the threaded connections on product for leaks. Mine was leaking at the pressure gauge threads. Had to take out a apply new joint sealer. The picture shows how the leak when soap bubbles were applied.

Worked perfectly to pressure test my gas pipe. Since the pipe was outside of my house to the street, plumbers wouldn't pressure test it. Said they only do interior. This worked and so much cheaper!

Just screw it on your pipe then use your car tire air compressor to pressure up your pipes (the gauge has the air valve included on it) and see if it holds the pressure. Just use 10-15 lbs MAX (too much can be bad) AND MAKE SURE you CLOSED all the GAS VALVES TO YOUR APPLIANCES BEFORE YOU DO THE TEST (the pressure may be too high for them, you ONLY test the pipes and your shut off valves, not the appliances). I saved about $500 with this $10 tool (the plumbers charge $525 for a gas test, UNBELIEVABLE but true). Google "HOW to do a GAS TEST", and there are several useful vedios on UTUBE.

The face of the gauge was bent upon arrival, which prevented the needle from going past 12 psi, basically making it useless. I managed to remove the cover and flatten it out, but after one use I noticed the needle is now stuck at 5 psi. I simply wouldn't trust the accuracy of this gauge.I'd say you get what you pay for, but the price and design seem to be consistent with everything else I've seen available. It worked once, which allowed me to pressure test my new gas lines, but now itβs just a paperweight.
