I purchased this thermostat to replace an identical one. I was able to remove my old one and install this new one. Very easy! Great price also!

I live in a part of the country where it can be 40 degrees one day. 80 degrees the following day and 40 degrees the day after that. The auto change-over feature solves the problem of constantly having to manually change the system control.
