This hood latches look identical to the OEM ones that are worn out and look terrible. The removal and installation were simple and they look good. I believe that they are made of the same material as the originals, so I anticipate that they should last just as long as the originals did. The plastic will eventually fade from the sun’s harsh rays, but for such a low investment, I can just replace them again if they start looking terrible again.

All plastic jeep parts eventually fade from the sun and these are no exception. Took me just a few minutes to replace the old worn ones and these have been working well so far. No noticeable hood movement
