Good quality. Has braided cable like original 1969. The solid cables are Terrible. This one is the only one I could find with braided. Doesn’t seem to be any compromise.

Replacement in my 81 C3 Corvette. The quality was better than expected and direct replacement. You should also install a backup release cable accessible from underneath the car for each hood locking mechanism. It the stock hood release fails or the cross cable fails its a big problem. You can make it from some bicycle cabling. Cheap safety net that will save you a bundle of headache.
