Your cart is empty.The Standard Hoofjack will accommodate a pony up to a small draft or draft cross (hooves up to a size 7). If your horse is unshod and you are uncertain of its shoe size, measure across the widest part of the hoof. If the horse's hoof is less than 7 3/4" you will want to order the Standard or Medium size Hoofjack. Note: The Standard Hoofjack Is Best for people over 5'10 where the Medium Hoofjack model is 3" shorter and more suited for a person's who is under 5' 10". The Hoofjack consists of one standard base with two magnets, one standard cradle, and one straight post with standard rubber cap. The standard base is made of linear polyethylene which is 12" in height and has a base diameter of 18". Overall height adjustment is 14" - 22". Two strong 90 lb. pull magnets are included to hold your rasp, nippers, or hoof knife close at hand. Cradle strap color subject to change; currently it is gray. Logo color on packaging and on Hoofjack is slowly transitioning to black so your stand may come with a white or black logo (same stand). Some assembly required. INSTRUCTIONAL DVD IS NO LONGER INCLUDED.

Hoofjacks are the best of the best. I wouldn't use anything else for my farrier work. But more importantly in this case was the seller, who took the time to include a signed letter (yes, really signed!) by Dean that had instructions for use. Plus he gave his phone number in case I had any issues! Wow! It's so rare to see that kind of customer service these days. Hats off to Dean and his shop -- Double D Horse Training. Highly recommended!!

It’s pricey but I think it’s worth it. I added the Hoofjack Mini Cradle with 11" post to help me hold a regular size hoof steady for picking and trimming while not hitting the cradle with the rasp. Works great for a non farrier.

This is a great hoof jack, adjustable, sturdy and has magnets for your tools. My real farrier has two of these. We purchased one because in a pinch my husband does actually know how to trim and shoe our horses, he just hasn't the time to do it these days. We are glad we have it for those times when our farrier is away or he needs us to do a little 'trim up on the toe in a few weeks" for a couple of our horses.It puts the horses hoof in a nice relaxed state making the job easier on them and your back.

I purchased this standard model given some reviews said it could be used on miniatures. I have mini donkeys (on the bigger side as they are just over the 36" wither to ground measurement). It was too tall for them to be comfortable. I also didn't realize Hoofjack made a mini stand version, so if you have mini's get that one instead! It is a wonderful stand though, makes trimming much easier on the back and the magnets are so handy for tools.

By far the best hoof stand out there. You'll never want another kind.Its so easy to use and to switch the pedestals out. Plus dual magnets allow all my tools to remain with me so I'm not searching, stretching, or putting a hoof down. They're right there. The adjustable height is perfect. It can fit some ponies (not minis-it's too tall even at its lowest settings) and it worked on several draft mixes (I can't vouch for very large drafts, this guy was a Belgian mix at 15.3/16hh).The plastic is high quality and thick. It's built to last.The price is beyond worth it.
