Do not buy! After one Michigan winter the hinges are rusting and the powder coat is falling off. The doors will not come off and are very hard to open and close. Company does not stand behind its product. When I reached out the suggested that I paint them. I would have just refinished my stock hinges if I knew the lack of quality of this product.

First, the instal was a pain for me. The instructions provided were, in my opinion, useless. They don't really tell you how other than 'just do it'. Second, the build quality, feels a bit weak. The first photo shows about 3 months of on my jeep and you can see the threaded part was stretched. I didn't even over torque it at all. They were hand tight according to spec from Jeep. The second and third photo show the brass bushing. The one completely seized onto the hinge and made opening the door a lot harder.I gave two stars because of the look. They LOOK nice. But functionally, these missed the mark for me.

The stud inside the hinge broke off soon as we were screwing them on there… soon as we made it the tight fit to hold the door…UPDATE: they have contacted me and have made things right with me unhappy with what happened during our application. Their customer service has been helpful. Please contact their customer service and get support if you have any issues and they will be willing to help out in any way they can.

Arrived chipped and scratched, poor packaging, box even broken open and are not powder coated as ad said. Really disappointed.

At first they seemed decent. After a year however they have started to rust both on the inside and outside of the door. These being on a jeep that spent the last three winters in Victoria….Disappointing

I just got these because my factory hinges were corroding & my doors were stuck on so I decided that replacing all of the inner & outer door hinges would be the best solution since i can rework the factory hinges after theyre off & have back ups just in case. I had originally tried to order the smittybilt or kentrol hinges but apparently both brands are on back order everywhere right now so I searched Amazon for a backup plan & these Hooke Road body door hinges are what I decided to go with. Its a huge price difference so i was a bit concerned that the quality wouldn't match up so before buying, I read all of the reviews & saw many people complaining about these rusting super quickly & the doors being tight/stuck. Im happy to say that after installing, my doors are smooth as butter. Unfortunately though, when I opened the box every single hinge had several chips of paint missing from around the edges. Since i had already waited all week to get them & didn't want to deal with the hassle of a return & since there was so many reviews about rusting, i decided to just go buy a couple cans of Rustoleum high performance rust enamel in matte black & some sandpaper. I hand sanded them all to scuff em up & cleaned them with alcohol so the paint could adhere really well & then I coated the crap out if them. They look waaaaaaayyyy better than they did out of the box, the missing paint chips are completely hidden & I'm hoping the extra coats of paint prevents the rusting or at least majorly delays it.I should mention that i also pulled out all of the included metal bushings & replaced them with the Delrin bushings as an extra rust prevention tactic since it looked like the bushing area was where the bulk of the reviews with pics of rust issues seemed to be the worst.I installed these inner hinges with a different brands exterior hinges (dipmotor) & even with mismatched brands & replacing the bushings the fit was perfect.For now I'm only giving these inner hinges 3.5 stars because of the chipping & having to refinish them & I'll update my review once they've been on the jeep for at least a month to see if there's any rusting or door sticking issues. Hopefully, with the extra paint & swapped out bushings they'll remain rust free.

These work great. My doors went from frozen shut to flying open. Super easy to install. I wish they were a bit wider to cover the corrosion left behind from the old hinges, but so happy I can enter through a door again! I also thought they were a gloss finish when buying, but they are matte. I like how it looks with the matte finish a lot though.

they made the jeep look like new with the new hinges. the old hinges the paint was coming off them made the jeep look like crap and had to paint them every year

Only aspect of these I was disappointed in, was the hinge pin itself. Had to spend quite awhile masking up the hinge to prep and paint the pins so they don’t rust and don’t stick out against the black. Seems to me they could have powder coated the top of the pins as well. Overall though great product
