Rods screw together tightly and don't come loose during use. My wife just broke in a match-grade rifle and we used this rod 25 times without any issues. Patch holding tips are plastic; better for the barrel but this presents the possibility for them to break off during use. Highly recommended, but use with caution and don't use to large a patch or try to force this rod through - it should move smoothly and, if it doesn't, you've got too much patch on it.

This is a good cleaning rod that works well 8n the gun bore cleaning process. The tips fit snugly and the rod is a grid value.

These are great. I broke my last cleaning rod after 5 years using it in a drill to spin to clean threads in my RV water tank…I shouldn’t have done it but it worked. I was happy to buy another since the last one would have lasted a lifetime with proper use in firearms only.

Bought this rod because the kit I bought (different brand) rod is too short for my rifle. It seems a bit flimsy but got the job done. I have to use some of the accessories from the kit to clean the rifle because the accessories with this rod doesn’t fit.

Goes together really easily. Only problem is the plastic tips. They wear out with excessive use.
