This is my first Hori Hori knife and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and solid feeling of this garden tool. I should have bought this year's earlier. In particular, the "forked" end will be much more useful than a pointed blade for removing weeds and digging up dead plants, also cutting out English Ivy (hate that stuff). The blade has a full tang (which means the metal blade extends through the entire length of the handle), which I noticed some of the other Hori Hori blades didn't. A full tang blade is essential - a partial tang blade has an inherent design flaw which will eventually result in the handle breaking. Since you are digging in dirt, having a strong blade and solid handle is a must. This garden blade should give years if not decades of use. Handle is also very comfortable. The entire knife feels solid. The sheath is also well made which a nice added feature.

This has quickly become my favorite and most-used tool in my garden!Ergonomic - I love that it is versatile and can be used for many of my garden tasks!Easy to use - It's a knife, a trowel, a saw ... if you know how use these individual tools, then you will master the Hori Hori!Sturdiness - It has put up with some hard, heavy soil so far! The full tang is a great feature for keeping this tool working for a long time.Fun Factor - I love feeling like Rambo in my garden hunting for weeds that need to taken out!

I liked mine so much I got another to give as a gift! So far has lasted pretty long and is sturdy. Measurements are very helpful and the case is nice to put away so it doesn’t scratch anything

I have literally used this for every application they advertise: digging, cutting string, sawing small wood branches off, weeding, cutting open bags of soil... it is awesome!!! I'm not very particular about care for my tools and yet this thing wipes down and looks like new. And the wood handle has been a welcome upgrade. When I'm not in gloves I appreciate the smooth round edges on the handle and I always appreciate the weight of this tool. Feels substantial and sturdy in my hand. Love this thing.

Returned an inferior one for this… this one is way better- little to know risk of bending… yes I’m hard on my knives and expect them to hold up to abuse. This did not disappoint
