This garden knife is made extremely well and is very durable. The knife has a solid weight and strong to work well in the garden. The handle is also solid and very attractive. The knife is very sharp, so I would wear gloves when using. The blade itself has a depth gage imprinted on the shovel to allow for precise depth needed for a particular job. It came with sheath for transportation and storage and is very durable as well. Overall, a great find for a garden enthusiast.

I am reviewing the “Hori Hori Garden Knife, Garden Tools with Sheath for Weeding,Planting,Digging, 7" Stainless Steel Blade with Cutting Edge, Full-Tang Wood Handle with Hanging Hole”, sold by the ROYTOA store.I chose this item because I am terrible at measuring depth and a multi-functional tool is always good to have. I also wanted a garden spade made of decent metal that won’t rust after a month. The fact that this is made of stainless steel and has a full-length tang is fantastic. The serrated edge makes cutting through vines easy and the notched blade is handy for cutting lengths of twine to tie up vining plants. The handle is very smooth and comfortable to hold. This is by far one of my favorite garden tools and I look forward to using it for years to come. I would definitely recommend this to any fellow gardener.I hope this review helps and Happy Shopping!

I am really impressed by the quality and strength of the blade. It is very sharp and cuts through the soil with ease.To be honest it is probably overkill for an established garden with good soil. Now if you are digging in roots or rocks this is the perfect tool.I also believe this could double as a small metal detecting shovel after you have removed the plug.

We have several of these types of knives but can never find one when we look for them, so I got just one more. This is the perfect example of this kind of knife with a strong handle, a serrated edge and a straightedge and an indent on the blade for opening beer bottles. No serious gardener should be without one of these knives.

Absolutely beautiful gardening knife. High quality. The wood is thick and heavy, nice craftsmanship and easy to grip. I like that it has the inches written on it, I use this to plant seedlings into the garden, the measurements help to make sure every plant gets planted to the same depth. This has become one of my favorite tools.I highly recommend.

I have never had a tool like this before and I really like it. I will be happily using for all of my transplants this spring. It can do a variety of tasks and it will be nice to use instead of having to keep track of multiple tools. The measurements on the blade are a handy addition of you're concerned about precise planting depths. The notch at the end should deal with pesky roots. The notch on the side will handle your twine when you're securing your plants to their stakes. There's even at toothed edge on the other side that might help with something more pesky. Plus a sheath so you can keep it handy and/or protected.

This thing is a tank. Heavy duty. Really has been handy planting this spring. I have used the saw edge several times. Well made.

I have used Hori knives for years and recently moved to much larger proerty with a greenhouse and dedicated growing building. So I picked this Hori up to keep me from needing to carry one around with me all day. The Hori itself is well made and other than being new looks just like my older one. Same feature set and quality seem to be in this Hori. The sheath is decent although I probably will not use it.
