Pros: Feels sturdy, cable, cylinder locks work fine, two padded compartments.Cons: Heavier than expected. Could be larger.

Great construction. Live in an area where firearm and ammunition need to to be separated sometimes. This is the perfect solution. And it is quality construction, so I'm never worried about it being compromised.

This lockbox works as advertised. Each lid seals tight, has strong hinges, and is easy to unlock. The inclusion of 2 keys is a nice touch. Given that it is advertised for travel, this box is heavier than you'd expect, being that it is all steel.My only complaint is that, while shown easily fitting a full size 1911, this box barely fits my standard size Colt. If you plan to travel with a 1911 that has any extra dimensions (flared magwell, a full rail, red dot sight, etc.), you will be disappointed, adding cushioning to prevent rubbing against the lid, or disassembling your gun.Considering both length and height, this box is much more suited to a commander length 1911, or compact/subcompact.

Great do-it-all lockbox. The security cable it comes with can be attached or removed to the lockbox just by opening the lockbox door. You can have the security cable mounted to a part of your vehicle and you don't have to remove it. I personally use it to lock up my firearm in my vehicle and I also plan on using it to fly with my firearm.

This safe was easy to install, it seems to be built well, and the cable is long enough to make it easy to use. The only negative is that I have a hard time working the key to lock or unlock it.

Cons: Cheap plastic handle; compartments of different sizes will not hold larger guns. Pros: separate locked compartments satisfy's state requirements to keep ammo and gun separate during transport; heavy duty metal contained; reasonable price.

I was at a major airport and the locks would open, I wasn’t able to allow TSA entry.. my items are locked inside with no way to get them out it’s been 3 weeks.. DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU WANT IT IN EMERGENCY
