Haven't got the full potential out of this yet as its still a little cool for march in Texas. But so far its fit all 3 mustangs we have. One of which that is a lot of draft in him, one that's built like a Passo x Andalusian cross, and one mare that is pretty stocky but has a Spanish head.

Great all around fly mask! The edges are wrapped in a soft fleece edging. A wide strip of Velcro secures the mask in place while allowing for some head size variation. There is nothing covering the ears, but the nose is protected from the sun by the UV mesh. An opening allows space for the forelock within a lightweight drip dry material. In addition, the mask came with a drawstring bag for use in the washer.

I have a mare who has uvitis and is in a flymask all day. Most masks put pressure on her nose and leave an uncomfortable spot on her nose. This one did do that and i was hoping the extension on the mask would prevent that. I ended up modifying it with a bit of fleece hand sewn in. However, the best part is the washing bag. since its winter, my mare is constantly getting her masks dirty and we go throuh about three a year since any irritant can cause a flare up. washing them is what breaks the mask down faster and i'm excited for the soft (seriously, soft and thick) wash bag does so much to protect the fly mask from the spin cycle.

It's not fly season, so I haven't used it on a horse yet. I have gone over it for quality though.I like the ear and forelock holes as they're lined with soft fleecelike material. The binding is nice and strong as the stitches are neat and well sewn in. The most important thing for me when it comes to fly masks is how well they stay on. This mask has a strong velcro that will make it difficult for my escape artists to get it off.The netting is solid and feels like it will last. All in all, a good quality mask.Oh, and I almost forgot. It comes with its own bag. It's sturdy enough to survive a trip through the washer protecting the mask. It will also be a nice tidy way of keeping the mask when not in use.

This fly mask is made from tough, thick netting and features soft-felt edges to minimize skin irritation. It has a long nose that provides UV protection for horses with lighter skin that are prone to sunburn. Another useful aspect is the hole for the forelock, allowing for a comfortable fit. The mask also includes strong double-locking Velcro to ensure it stays securely in place, even with active horses. Plus, it comes with a wash bag, making it easy to clean in your washing machine when it gets dirty.

This mask is nearly identical to another well-known in the equestrian world for their masks. What's also basically identical is the price point. I left my rating at five stars because it is a very well-made mask but I would have expected it to be a lower cost since we weren't paying for the privilege of having the name. This fits very well. It will stay on all but the most determined of horses. I have one horse that will eventually get out of anything you put on her. Maybe not right away but sooner or later she will.It has the forelock pull through opening which I've always found to be a good feature to have. I put this into use in January 2025. I'd like to get at least a full summer season out of it so we'll see how it holds up and check back in next year.

This fly mask offers really great protection to my horse. The existing flymask that we have doesn't work as well at proetcting her as this one does. I've noticed a substantial amount of irritation cut down to a minimal with this fly mask. I also love that it offers her UV protection. Thats perfect for her aging eyes. The mask is very well ventilated and i was amazed at the optional nose covering that comes with it. My draft horse is very picky when it comes to anything touching her ears but she adapted to wearing this one in no time. It wasn't too tight on her at all and and it stays in place and doesn't move until it's time to take it off. It is easy to put on and take off of her and we are both happy because I dont have to make her grouchy just to put ot on her. It's great to have because its definitely better than the others that I've used on her in the past.
