This would be AWESOME but the magnets are in the wrong location (too low) so the rubber jaws don't stay in place. Only about half of the 3/8" dia magnet touches the jaw surface. The center of the magnet is 1/2" below the lip, so this might work fine if your vice has large jaws. The magnet should be right under the lip, so it'd work on all vices. I'll probably end up trying to pop out the magnets and move them to a better position...or just but a new set.I'm otherwise happy with these.

Bought a pair years ago, and used the heck out of them. Wanted a new pair.

I like these things! I’ve seen the jaws that have all the grooves and notches and I’m sure they’re very handy, but these have a simple crosshatch and perform well. The magnets keep them in place when the jaws are separated and/or rotated. I would like have another set for holding round stock, these really aren’t for that.

I should have bought these years ago. I finally used them today. Saved me $60 on project I was working on which was made out of plastic. I used these vise jaw protective covers and I had no breaking or marring the threads, perfect. You don't need them until you need them. So go ahead and get yourself a set. You will thank yourself later.

Awesome product I bought two. One for the house shop and one for the hangar. The only complaint is the magnets have cracked but they still function well.

I use these in my small vice to hold the barrels of my dismantled handguns while cleaning the bore. The material is just soft enough to not damage the barrels, while firm enough to hold them securely while pulling brushes and mops through the bores. The magnets keep the grips from falling when the vice is open. And these were relatively inexpensive. So I'm happy with them.

I bought the 6" vise jaw pads and put them on my 6" vise that I use to hold wood. The pads seem to do a good job of holding the wood without marring them from the pressure I need to hold them when using a rotary sander. The problem I have run into though is the magnets are not strong enough to hold the pads in place when I open the jaws slightly to put a piece of wood in or take it out or just reposition it. The pads will slide with the wood and I have to fiddle with them to get them back in place and keep the wood where I want while I clamp it back down. It's already gotten frustrating when I'm sanding a piece of wood that I turn over to get all 4 sides and I have to replace or re-adjust the pads each time.I bought a JCL 4" vise jaw pads at the same time I bought these for my drill press vise and those work great. They have two rows of magnets while these Horusdy only have one row of magnets on each pad. I've already ordered a 6" JCL pad to replace these from Honusdy.
