  • MADE IN THE USA

Our Oscillating Hoe is made with a powder-coated steel frame and a spring steel blade that’s sharpened on both sides. The sharpened blade is heavy-duty and durable so it cuts through the thickest weeds. Similar in design to a hula hoe, scuffle hoe or stirrup hoe, the Oscillating Hoe has a hinged 20 degree action that allows you to cut weeds in both a forward and backward direction. The 12" Oscillating Hoe is the perfect tool for weeding between garden rows. Works great on traditional summer crops that tend to have wider row spacing. The spring steel blade provides a shallow cultivation that allows you to weed close to plants without damaging the feeder roots. The Oscillating Hoe is also a great garden tool for weed prevention. The best way to manage weeds in your garden is to provide a shallow cultivation before they appear. Weed control in a vegetable garden is a preventative practice, not a reactive one.

This works great, especially if you use it often. It is much faster than using a hoe and more convenient than using a tiller. I got mine late in the season but can tell this is a very useful attachment.

I have a very large garden, and this thing is a lifesaver. It’s actually the second one I’ve bought. I ran the first one over with the tractor, and love it enough I replaced it same day. The wide oscillating blade cuts on the push and pull, and holds a keen edge when sharpened.

Cutting metal too thin flexes to much

I was able to weed 20 x4 feet of garden space pretty easily. Of course it does take some elbow grease but it is much faster than using a regular hoe.

If you haven't seen Hoss Tools youtube channel and Row By Row Show, I highly recommend it. If you have several small patches (40-80 yards by 40 to 80 yards) on your homestead then the Hoss Tools Double Wheel Hoe and High Arch Hoe are the best in the business. This 12" weed implement, cuts early growth weeds by undercutting the roots. You can run through five or six 80 yard by 40 yard veggie patches in less than a half hour keeping them weed free for about a week if weed pressure is intense. This blade slices through the dirt and weeds like a hot knife through butter. All Hoss Tools are exceptionally well engineered. This only works on the Hoss Double Wheel Hoe or High Arch Hoe, so if you do not own these, you got to buy them first before buying this weeding implement.Highly recommend all of Hoss Tools Hoes, Tools, Implements, Drip Tape, Organic Fertilizer and seeds.

Great tool. It works best on LARGE flat areas. It is great for between rows of plants. I still like my long handle shuffle hoe better for close up work around my plants.

Love this! I got this with the Hoss single wheel hoe and it works really well. I use it primarily for clearing path ways and clearing beds before replanting. I am a home gardener, not a farmer, but I wish I had bought this tool years ago. Makes a half an hour weeding job take maybe 5 minutes, plus it's a great arm workout! The blade will rust if left outside so it definitely needs a shed or someplace to store it. A metal brush will clean off all the dirt and keep the blade pretty sharp if you clean it every time. I would recommend this to any serious gardener or small scale farmer! It seems very well made and it was easy to attach to the wheel hoe. The instructions were very clear.
