Tried the glue and it works fine, but I'm using this for wax seals actually, and it works well enough for me. I'm sure there's better out there of course, especially since the plastic body gives the thing a bit of a cheaper feel, but a tool's a tool and it's quite alright.

When ever you do something like hot glue guns, be sure to give great instructions to younger children when they use this so they do not get burned!The age level of the use depends upon the child's ability to adapt to new items.Great item for adults to use and we have had experience with them for many years. No problems at allWe highly recommend.

Using glue guns for my family craft projects, we typically have one to split between five of us. This 12 pack of mini glue guns is perfect for the family as we work together, step by step on the projects. The glue gun pack also includes 120 glue sticks so you have plenty of glue for a number of projects.The glue guns were mini size, but sturdy. I was able to easily push in on the trigger to have a solid glue response at the tip. Warming up the glue gun only took a short time and the sticks easily could be inserted into the alignment port. The temperature controller worked really well offering a continuous warming that made the glue come out properly. The outer covering was also durable and kept cool while the glue gun was being used.Overall, I really enjoyed using these glue guns for our projects. There are a variety of colors to choose from so you can have a choice when creating your project. After trying them all, I can say all the glue guns seemed to work well. If you are looking for a pack of glue guns these are durable and offer steady heat for any gluing project.

This is a large 12-pack set of multicolored small glue guns with 120 glue sticks. The glue guns heat up pretty quickly. The glue sticks are just the right size for these glue guns. These guns and the glue being dispensed get very hot, so I would not recommend them for children, especially without adult supervision. At about $3 each (plus the glue sticks), they are priced good. Overall, they are easy to use and small. Just remember that the glue gets very hot, so extreme caution around children.

Good color variety. Heats quickly and very hot, hot, hot. Heats up quickly. Sits upright with ease. Each gun has it's only "off/on" switch which means it doesn't automatically start heating just because it's plugged it. Good quality as well

Word of caution: these operate at even higher temperatures than most guns that use full-size sticks. To get the "high spit frequency" of 60x/minute, that means the glue is heated to a very, very hot temperature.I run a craft store with all-ages "makerspace" inside, and we've never had as many shrieks (and serious burns) as the brief time we used this model. Third. Degree. Burns. We ended up throwing them all away.(Also, because of the "high spit frequency," kids will go through a lot of glue sticks.)If you are a serious crafter, there may be advantages for you to get hot glue *this hot*. But they are absolutely not safe for kids, or unsuspecting adults.
