Indicates hot temp when the temp is actually normal. Spent money on many other unnecessary parts including a new radiator and thermostat thinking something was overheating the engine. Turns out the temp sensor was prematurely triggering the hot indicator!

This part is junk. Hot light came on way too soon! If you want, or need to replace yours just spend the extra money for Polaris parts. I was told that sometimes the polarity on these aftermarket sensors are backwards. I gave it one star only because it did fit.

Got this as a replacement part on a Polaris Magnum 425. Fit perfectly in both threading it into the block and the wire connector fit perfectly. No issues so far. Be sure to tighten down thoroughly to avoid coolant leakage. Note the part I replaced (not sure if it was OEM) hex head was a 21mm and this was a 22mm.

I used this for a 97 Polaris Sportsman 500. I broke mine while removing the head and this was an exact replacement.
