Just as described and fits perfectly in my rat rod. At first I had the rubber under the chrome plate but I then realized the rubber would fit better from the bottom. So I sandwiched my console with the chrome piece and the rubber piece.

I used this to replace the ripped and worn out shifter boot on a Chevy Kodiak C70 truck. even though the shifter stick hole is square it sealed around the round shifter stick in the Chevy. It was a good replacement for my truck.

Chrome trim piece flimsy. Careful not to over tighten base plate which there are no stainless screws with it so you'll need to go out and buy hardware.

As you can see in the pic it's not a perfect match of rubber and the very thin (sharp) chrome metal.I bought it for a Lokar application and I'm not sure it will fit - it seems to be not tall enough and my center hump is too curved (or a combo of both really). Anyways - the Lokar one is closer to $100 so I figured I could sew (or have the wife sew) a vinyl sleeve for it it's worth $10. The thin metal, as other reviewers state, does make it more malleable and easy to contour to any application. For $10 give it a shot :D

It's about what I expected. The chrome trim is very thin and will bend and warp if you suck the screws down too tight but then again it was less than $10. For the money, it does the job just fine.

Good quality. Flexible rubber. Chrome plate is thin.
