We bought our Hot Spring Grandee Spa in 2019. Used the same filters for the last 5 years. In November this year, we decided to replace the Tri-X filters and we could see the quality of the material is different, but did not expect the longevity of the product to be so poor. Only 2 months after installing, there are lots of cracking and warping in the filters. Too bad this is the only product out there for us. Disappointed how the quality had declined so much.

My Hot Spring Jetsetter LX came with three filters that sort-of look like these Tri-X, in that they had ceramic elements, but the end caps were different. Regardless, these Tri-X filters are what Hot Spring recommends for my model, and they fit and work well. Supposedly these can be run through a dishwasher (no detergent), but I have not tried that yet.

Big difference in using these versus more corrugated knock-offs. I'm not going to put them in my dishwasher as advertised (yuk!), but these filter far better and last at least a year. After two or three years in a salt spa they do degrade and chip plastic.
