Effective and almost keeps our water perfectly as long as I add a lid full of a booster weekly, monthly a little calcium, and a little PH UP weekly. Even when no one is using it. That basic formula works for me 90% of the time regardless of use. The blue mineral part typically lasts me 4 months, the silver chlorine portion lasts about three weeks even though I keep it set at 1.5.Con'sIt is easily twice to three times more expensive than other systems I can buy at any hardware or pool store but they often require a little more work and adjustments.The FROG system implies it's all you need, but as I mentioned above, I'm always adding more PH Up, booster, and calcium and occasionally some anti-foam, some clarifier (usually once a month), and sometimes alkaline on top of the Up. So even though it's supposed to be a complete system it's not and I'm still adding more money in additional chemicals.We have decided the extra cost is worth it, our water is always great, clean, clear, and ready to go.

Seems like price fixing since I’ve yet to find these at a different price anywhere, even locally. Bought here just for convenience of delivery. Anyway, spa dealer included the starter kit and it’s proven to be super easy. Every so often I have to a bit of minerals or alkalinity but everything else remains rock steady. We got a small 3 person spa and the first chlorine section lasted over a month and we’re going over a month on the second one now. Considering we use the spa nearly daily, I’m really impressed with the system.

Wasn’t sure what to expect as we had been using the frog clean system that came with the hot tub. Not a fan of the floating ball as they seem to always come towards me like smoke in a fire pit! This isn’t nearly that bad and works as intended. The “flip” over to show you when it’s time to swap it out is a neat feature so we can set it and forget it somewhat.
