As someone who works on a gold course in Georgia, I don't deal with brutal winters, but those early mornings can still be cold and damp. Hot Hands hand warmers have been a game-changer for me. They heat up quickly and stay warm for hours, making it easy to keep my hands comfortable while setting up the course, handling equipment, or riding in a cart.I usually keep a pack in my jacket pockets and sometimes even slip them into my gloves. They're lightweight, easy to use, and last long enough to get me through my shift. If you work outdoors, even in a milder climate, these are a must have for those chilly mornings. Highly recommend!

I tend to leave these things laying in a drawer and go searching for them when it gets cold again. After they are a few years old they still work....kind of.So I did exactly that when this polar vortex hit. I had work to do outside and my hands and feet froze. Amazon to the rescue again. I bought these for a great price and had them in less than 24 hours. With thick wool socks on my feet were warm and against bare hands in gloves they were pretty much too hot.I need to remember to rotate my stock, first in first out. Going forward I'll always have fresh ones on hand.

These do exactly what the say they will do. I recently transferred to Michigan from Texas for work. Wow what a surprise. This Texas boy ain't made for that kind of cold. The hand warmers provide heat for my hands which is neither too hot or not hot enough. They last for a solid 10 hours if not more. Good price, shipped quickly and a great product.

Bought these because I enjoy biking and want to do as much biking in winter as the weather in PA will allow. These radiate with a nice warmth for your hands. I found it best to open them, shake them and then put them in my pockets to warm to desired temperature for maybe a half hour before I go out to bike. That way they are toasty from the get go when I ride. I put them in my glove on the palm side. This keeps my hands warm. The packets are light enough that they don't really restrict my hand movement. Fingers can still get cold when I ride but when I come in from biking I hold the warmers in the palm of my hand and make a fist around the warmer. Fingers then warm back to normal temps quickly. Overall, happy with the purchase as these clearly provide the intended results.

Their are a few other hand warmers offered at a better price on Amazon, but, unlike some other brands, HotHands really work. They're hot and they last!In fact, I often use the same ones for 2 ski days. The trick is to put them in a small zip bag at the end of a ski session and they are good to go for the next day!

I have these, a set of rechargeable hand warmers and a set of gel hand warmers. Each works just fine in different ways, but the gel-type and the electric type are good only until you run out of electricity to recharge them. (Like during that 3 1/2 day power outage I just lived through that was caused by that "bomb cyclone" here in the pacific northwest.) Even though these are one use only, they last for a long time (10-18 hours depending on several variables). They do get quite warm.They are definitely good for emergency use for humans and pets. (My 18 year old cat was seen sitting on top of a pair of them during the power outage. Her heated kitty bed was off, I was refusing to be her mattress all day, and she was cold.) Having a hand-warmer that does NOT require electricity to recharge means that your solar charger (should you have one) can be used for more critical items like lights & communication devices.These would also be good for camping and other places where electricity is of limited supply.I also saw them being passed out at the local food bank. Not everyone has electricity to start with, or heat either.
