It is ideal for conditioning and maintaining all wooden butcher blocks, cutting boards, wooden bowls, and utensils. The penetrating quality of food-grade mineral oil along with the water-resistant traits of beeswax and carnauba wax helps to rejuvenate the wood and prevent drying. Safe for all wood surfaces that come in contact with food, including: butcher block countertops, cutting boards, wooden bowls and utensils. Contains food-grade mineral oil stabilized with vitamin e. Mineral oil will never go rancid like some plant based oils.

This is great for my butcher block island countertop. I apply it and leave it on over night. Then I wipe it off and buff. I repeat monthly.

Love, love, LOVE this product! We recently renovated our kitchen and got walnut butcher block counter tops. After some research we decided to go with Howard Butcher Block Conditioner. It works great and leaves the wood looking exactly like it should with no discoloration. I use it on my cutting boards and my wooden utensils as well. It has a very subtle honey scent and not at all overpowering. I 150% recommend!!

Safe for food surfaces but also easy and effective for a variety of surfaces. Sealed some scratches on my kitchen cabinets, finish on a closet hat rack, finished my work bench, versatile finish for a variety of projects with no obnoxious odor or fumes.

Just put a new 36”x73” butcher block island in. I initially got another name brand that was the miners, oil and conditioning cream in two separate products but the container of cream was very small and expensive for the amount you got. A friend recommend this and I have to say I am very pleased. Goes on very nicely and a little goes a long ways

Works very well for my table. I use that table in the garage when I am cooking/caning out there. It gets a lot of hard use. This goes on easy, penetrates well and lasts a long time. Pleased and will order again. I am going to try it on some of my garden tool handles. I think it will work very well there also.

We started finishing our raw new butcher block kitchen countertops with food grade oil, and finished them with this luxurious stuff. We redo them with this once in a while. Smells lovely and protects the wood. Fantastic product.
