Push to connect is amazingly simple! Getting thr old valve out was the hardest part (removing the pex crimp ring then heat up the pvc line to remove the old valve). Once the old valve was removed, I just cut the hose down 1/8 inch to get a clean surface and pushed the new valve on. Easy peazy.It even comes with the removal tool, so I could remove the vale easily if necessary.

I never trusted Shark Bite-style connections. Ultimately, I made a budget purchase. During install, I had a deluge. Make sure you really press hard while twisting on the fitting with cpvc, because it will likely not grab on at first. I should have trusted my gut and gone with threaded stops. At the end of the day, a few bucks can cost a fortune if it comes off and/or leaks. This one came off and I ran back inside, opened it and squeezed it back on, then closed and twisted it sealed on the fly. Remember: it's your house your gambling with. These stops are sturdy, but the connections are probably not QA'd like a name brand might be
