The battery as received was thicker than the one currently in my Golf Buddy. When I installed it I had to allow the back cover to bulge out in order to close the cover. I am concerned for potential to get dust/dirt into the battery area of the Golf Buddy due to the poor fit.Did not return it because of the inconvenience to me.

The battery is great. It fit perfectly in my platinum Golf Buddy. After 2 rounds of golf it has enough life for more golf.

We ordered this battery for our World Platinum Golf Buddy because the old battery would no longer recharge. The new battery was slightly larger, and we could get the cover back on, but there was about an 1/8 inch gap between the unit and battery cover.The new battery was fully charged and lasted the first 18 holes, but just like the old one, it would not except a charge making us think it's actually a fault in the unit not the battery.Any one need a lightly used battery?
