This product successfully replaced my HS780 34NL-306A on a Rheem RGDD-08NE-GR and fixed my issue. The issue that I had was that the furnace pilot flame would ignite for around 10 seconds and then shut off. It would then repeat for a second time without igniting the main burners, while the blowers remained on. I replaced this ignition control board, and I had to make sure that the ground screw was screwed back in place so that the main burners would ignite. If you try to test the unit without screwing in the ground screw, then the burners will not ignite. I initially thought my furnace ignitor was bad so I replaced the furnace ignitor, since this furnace model does not have a flame sensor. However, everything worked! Many thanks!

It was a new and identical part (HS780 34PL-308A - Robertshaw OEM Replacement Furnace Control Board) to the defective item I replaced that was 27 years old.

Ignition control module was bad out of the box. I'm trying to get another one sent to me from the seller. I'm hoping everything goes smoothly and then my rating will change, but as for now, I'm not pleased that the brand new part won't work. I'm an HVAC Technician and I've had this happen before with other parts (not from this seller) so I do know that these things unfortunately happen.
