Quick bullet points about sliders:
- They are not designed to protect plastics, clipons, or rearsets, even though they might help sometimes.
- You do not want a slider to stick out too far or it will help flip your bike in a crash by snagging on the ground, curb or anything else.
- You want delrin or plastic to touch down when you crash as they will grind off and not catch on anything and if hit hard enough or direct enough they will shatter.
- If your slider shatters, grinds off or bends then it did it's job. You don't want it solid after a crash or it didn't absorb any energy but merely transfered it on to what you bolted it to.
- When f1 cars hit the side of a track they explode as they don't want the drive to absorb the energy. Frame sliders are the same way. You want them to stay attached but get beat up and take the energy.
- If the bolt on a frame slider bends that's a good thing as the only other option is to put the energy on the frame or mounting point. Better the bolt bends. Also if it didn't bend it might have flip the bike by snagging something. A mangled frame slider, but still on the bike, did it's job.
- No cut frame sliders aren't a direct bolt on like cut sliders as they often have a bracket.

Bought these preemptively, kinda figured I would have a spill one day. Easy install, self explanatory, everything kinda just fits into place, had it on in about an hour. Really didn't feel like cutting holes in the fairings, so this kit is excellent, and plenty sturdy.About 2 months after installing, I was dealing with a dead battery and push starting the bike everywhere while I waited for a replacement. Started the roll, lost balance, ah shiii, plop. Frame slider did it's job, didn't move, and only had the smallest little scratch, rest of the bike was fine.100% Recommend, already paid itself off.

I installed these less than 2 weeks ago (04 CBR600RR). Today I parked the bike and get off to find a pool of straight coolant. As it turns out the connecting rod ended up breaking the radiator on the back. Now I wasted $40 on these and $400 on a new Radiator from Honda plus labor. If your deadset on these make a bracket for the radiator to sit farther out.

Some dirtbag pushed 3 of my bikes over resulting in the damage in the first image. The total cost of the repair would be pushing a grand with a brand new fairing, new lever, new reareset, new bar ends, new mirror, and time spent realigning and replacing everything. I'm a cheap wad and have managed to do most things relatively cheap, but even the single fairing is around $180. These $35 sliders are well worth the cost, even if it's just a minor tip over.If you love your bike like I do, you'll do yourself a favor and buy these, even if you're a bit strapped for cash. I can't afford to go all out right now, but these are perfect for right now and I feel far more comfortable leaving my bike outside at this point. These jerks tipped my bike over RIGHT OUTSIDE MY FRONT DOOR! I've since installed a camera and these frame sliders to hopefully catch these classless wastes of air and get some repayment for the headache they caused me.As for installation, it took me longer to put the fairings back on than it did to even do the frame sliders, by a long shot. Installation was a breeze, just make sure to follow the instructions from the top review on Amazon. My frame bolt must have been tweeked on the left side because I had to go HARD to get that bolt back in. I thought I was cutting the threads, but I backed it out often and double checked with the original bolt and everything, and it always checked out. I didn't go crazy tight on it, but just enough to make sure the bracket wasn't going to be moving. The rest of it was a breeze. The left side voltage regulator didn't fit all the way back on as expected, but I snugged up the bolts as best I could without cutting or breaking anything and it's not goign anywhere. Fairings went back on as expected but were just finicky because that's how they are. Nothing to do with the sliders. **NOTE** Install the fairings BEFORE you put the pucks on. You likely won't get them on around the frame sliders, and if you do, you're still going to have a bear of a time, so just install the fairings and THEN the pucks.Overall, very good purchase that is well worth the cost for peace of mind.

Fit great on my 2003 CBR600RR relatively easy, just no instructions. There’s a YouTube video that was helpful though.

These fit perfectly and are strong and well made and designed. I love them and they are not an eye sore. They blend with the bike and you can remove the fairrenes without any problems just like you normally would. Easy to install and do not interfere with your bike. Never had to drill, cut, or relocate anything. Definitely recommend that you get them. As you can see or not see in the pictures. They come out of the upper slot.

First, as others have said, no instructions. Come on, type it up and put it in the box. Minus one star.I got this because I was replacing fairings on my 2003 CBR600RR and the new fairings didn't have holes for the old sliders. I didn't have the original engine mount bolts - bike was inherited so I got what I got!***INSTALLATION***Take off both side fairings, which probably requires removing the lower fairings, too. Not too hard, just find the bolts/clips, and don't forget the side fairings have a part where it goes in and slides to lock together to the upper piece. The lower fairing has a sliding part as well. They're pretty tough, just take your time, get the screws and any pop-out connectors and watch for where it slides apart.RIGHT SIDE-right-side of bike: take out the bolt, which requires 19mm wrench to hold the nut (I didn't have one a 19mm, had to run to big box store) and a hefty allen wrench (I used an impact wrench allen)-The OEM spacer won't be re-used. Instead use the **small** spacer in this kit and the rest of the space is filled with the actual mounting bracket. So it goes BETWEEN the frame and engine. Bracket thickness + small spacer thickness = OEM spacer thickness!-The nut had a different thread pitch so I had to run to the big box store again :( (needed 1.25, I think OEM was 1.50 or something). Again, I had to get some parts because I was undoing hole-cut frame sliders so I could install no-cut frame sliders because I put on a cheap Chinese fairing kit - I wasn't starting from OEM bolts/nuts.-NOTE: DO NOT USE ANY BOLTS FROM THE KIT here. Re-use the OEM engine mount bolt as the engine mount bolt!-NOTE: if, like me, you're undoing frame sliders from prior owner, use the longer bolt from the left side.-The kit has 2 identical longer bolts. Those hold the slider (the part that sticks out) to the bracket-The kit has 2 identical short bolts. Those are for the cross-member that slides right behind the radiatorLEFT SIDE-left side requires you to take out the top bolt for some sort of electronics heat sink so you can put the bracket in-The fifth bolt that's not like any of the others in the kit? The other long one? That one goes on the left side as the engine mount bolt. Unlike the right side, you need to put the larger spacer from the kit OUTSIDE of the frame (the bolt hole is recessed and you're filling in the gap) - so you need a longer bolt to account for the spacer length.-This side doesn't have a nut on the other side of the bolt. Just thread it in and tighten-Put on the slider and connect the connecting rod, tighten 'em up!-NOTE: the old, direct-connect frame slider on this side didn't have an allen bolt for some reason so I had to cut off the slider. I just started the cut with a hacksaw and hit the old slider with a hammer and it broke off easily. At this point I could fit a socket on the bolt and get it out. I used it on the other side, as mentioned above, because I didn't have the OEM bolts-Put the heat sink bolt back in. Tighten.Tighten the sliders themselves and the connecting rod bolts. Put the fairings back on and you're done.

Solid, easy to install except for my left side heat sync thing. Had to bend it a little and add spacer to bottom bolt. Remove the heat sync thing before mounting the left side hardware. The two YouTube show different right side spacer placement. If you use the long support rod, and you should, the right side spacer goes against motor to the inside of the new hardware.

These have been great so far, luckily haven't had the misfortune of testing them yet but they feel super solid. I would definitely say they're just as strong as a direct mounted no-cut slider, especially with the supporting rod. Could probably lift the bike with them. The long supporting rod was missing in my package but I contacted XHT MOTOR and they sent it over asap. Excellent customer service! I already had my bike back together by the time it arrived but I was surprisingly able to install it with all the fairings still on.If you're installing yourself there are no instructions but it is pretty easy to figure out. There are 5 bolts and 5 washers with one of the bolts replacing your left side OEM engine mount bolt. All of which fit and thread in perfectly together even into the OEM threads. Make sure to lay the brackets as flush as possible against the frame of the bike when installing. I couldn't find a single blemish or scratch on any of the parts either.TLDR: Very good value and fitment. Can't get other sliders since most are discontinued now but I would still get these even if they weren't, anyway.
