The Tie Down is used on our RV awning and is exactly what is needed! The Texas wind is definitely windy! The Tie Downs on each end of the awning is perfect. 5 stars

The double D rings are impossible to get very tight, and they loosen over time. Then, they are difficult to loosen when you need to take it down. I'm going to just tie a loop in the top strap, and use a bungee between the two ends. That will allow fast takedown, and keep a steady tension.

It worked really well in securing my awning. These awnings really can not take much of a wind. In fact the previous day I about pulled it in with 5-8 mph wind because I was concerned. The next day I hooked this up and had 10-12 mph wind and it did great. Why 4 stars? Well my awning is tall and you need to get on a latter to set it up or pull it in.
