So the plastic is very hard a thin, making it a brittle bottle. The design is very weird, amd the max fill line they suggest is only 3/4 up the white part of the bottle which very little. It hand-wash only or the print will come off. The twist top is super nice, and the middle shifter price is helpful.

Do not buy!!This product is poorly engineered. The cap is fully removable and can be lost. When shaking the bottle, the cap leaks! I tried it a few times and I am very disappointed in HUEL.0/10 Do not recommend.

I have collected quite the gallery of bottles and water jugs over the years. I am not someone who over-consumes, but have amassed about 20 beverage containers of different sizes/functions/materials from travel and gifts. I was not expecting this to be my new go-to when my steel Owalla is being washed, but here we are:—this is awesomely designed, with a distinct spout and a sharp look—this is the perfect size for holding? It's got a perfect "hand feel", which is a surprise.—The lid is simple enough, functioning like a carton lid with the addition of a silicone finger loop to aid in portability.—The SHAKER MECHANISM is gold. I find that I have a better experience with the flat "shutter" pieces far more than the shaker bottle spheres, which are finicky and require a lot of effort to clean well.—The two halves come apart with a mere twist, making the whole thing marvelously easy to clean. You won't need a "bottle brush".I did not expect this to take place at the front of my "bottle shelf", but am thrilled this is such a cool product by Huel. If I were to nitpick, I would ask them to consider making a glass version, even if with a silicone/plastic top half. Outside of that, though, I think people would love this. The blender is perfect for shakes, whether you get the ready-to-go mixes from Huel directly, or just want to use this for standard protein powder or water!

This bottle has good points and bad points. The top of it is nicely designed, and it helps with blending shakes smoothly. That section has a nice texture and the plastic feels durable. The cap can be a bit fiddly, but it works. It seems like they just dropped the ball on the bottom section, though. They changed materials, and the plastic that makes that section is much more rigid and brittle. It feels like it would crack if you dropped it on a cement or tile floor. I'm not sure how long it will survive. We'll see. For the sales price of $34.99 when I got it, I wouldn't have bought it in a store. Definitely just riding on the brand reputation. I absolutely expected this to be better made.

Plastic shaker with a fairly high quality feel to it. White portion has an indent in it to be used as a fill line if using with the branded shakes. I am just using for protein so no real benefit to me. It does t use a shaker ball, it instead uses a grate at the top of the cup to break up chunks of powder. I prefer this over the little metal balls as they always manage to turn themselves into brain teasers by attaching themselves to the sink grate or another shaker ball. One complaint is the cap looks like it is attached to the top via a rubber strap but it’s not. It’s just a loop to itself so you have to hold onto the cap while you drink and risk getting drops of shake on your clothing.

A surprisingly good shaker, way better than the spring ball style.I got this shaker bottle when I lost my old one and needed something to mix my protein powder. I was skeptical that it could be better than the old one, but it really is. I don't know how, but they've found some kind of fluid dynamics (or is protein powder non-Newtonian???... nerd stuff) to get this bottle to mix substantially better than the traditional round springy ball kind.The package is attractive and stands out from the other brands and generic styles, which is fun.It says to hand wash if you want to preserve the branding, but to me it's more important to be easily cleaned so I've put it through the dishwasher several times with no issues. No warping, cracking, etc. 100% unscathed so far.The whole thing is completely water tight when sealed up. I don't drink out of the cap, but it's there if you want to take it along to drink.
