I wanted to replace the "yellow" light kit that came with a 52" Stillmore from HDC. While it was easy to install, the diameter isn't big enough for the magnets to hold the unit. It's being supported by rolling the cable and kind of tucked in the base. The "6000K" isn't as bright as I would have hoped. There are a few "bulbs" that are off (they correspond to the 3000K setting), so that sucks. And yes, I tried to use all of them but it was a yellowish white which isn't what I wanted. Do I recommend it? For the brightness, no. Ease of installation and price, yeah...

This made a big improvement over my 2 LED ceiling fan light. With all the small LED’s, the amount of light is spread out over a wider area. The description stated that it was 4 inches between each screw hole, but it was about and 1/8” off. So I had to rely on the 3 magnets to hold the plate onto the fan housing. My fan didn’t have a perfectly flat area for the magnets to hold on to, so it’s barely hanging on. I picked this brand over the others, because my screws were 4” apart. So luckily it has the magnets and hopefully they hold.

I just got this and was planning to fit it on the ceiling fan in my upstairs hallway.I already have 3 LED bulbs in it but I hate dusting the glass shades.Unfortunately, this is too big for this ceiling fan. I also tested it on the other 9 ceiling fans in my house and it's also too big for all of them. 8 of the ceiling fans have 3 lights hanging dowward and the last one has 4 lights hanging dowward.Plus, the screws on this light are pointed upwards and holes on my ceiling fans are all on the sides so I need some kind of adaptor that could screw to the light and has a smaller ring that fits up into the ceiling fan to screw on.The magnets don't work since they sit outside of the ceiling fan light shroud. It didn't even come with a cover so all the LEDs and wiring is exposed.I don't even know even if it did come with a cover if it would work because all of my ceiling fans have the light pull chain right in the middle.I leave the ceiling fans on all year to circulate air and only turn on the lights when needed. They should be more clear that these truly need to be used with a ceiling fan that is controlled with a remote and there is no pull chain throughway.I've already replaced all the bulbs in the ceiling fans with LED bulbs but it would be nice to have this style of LED light so there isn't anything to dust.

I had gotten a ceiling fan with an LED light. Recently, the LED started flickering and then turning off for short periods of time. Knowing there was no way to simiply replace a faulty LED emitter, I found this. What was key for me - diameter of the light. I wanted one that was very close to the diameter of the light that was failing. This met that requirement. In looking at it, it appeared to be the similar/same as what was failing.I took down the failing LED light (held in place by magnets), unplugged the 2 wire modular plug and then unpackaged the new light. It had a plug that was different than the one that was failing. I clipped off the plug on the failing light and the plug on the new light (light/dark wires). I joined the appropriate colored wires together with a lever type joint. I tucked the wires into the fan and put the new light in place (again, held in place with magnets).I turned on the light and there was light. My fan allows me to select the light intensity and I verified that the new LED light worked like the failed one in this regard. All operated as expected. This type of light replacement could have been easier ONLY if the plugs for the fan and the light were the same. That slowed me down for a couple moments but the rest of the process was easy and pain free. 5 stars for helping re-illuminate my office!
