Padding is great, outer shell is durable as well as being soft enough for comfort. Pro tip is to just use the bottom strap, they will stay up as well as not bunch up your pants if you are getting up and down a lot.

3 months later, one of the holder that holds on the strap broke on the right knee pad. And then eventually the left knee pad broke too. Unbelievable. I was expecting to be heavy duty that will last a year but no. Only 3 months normal use at the receiving store where I work. I wouldn't recommend this for construction site since it's more heavy duty work there. So yeah, definitely don't recommend for medium duty work.

I will say that these are nice from what I can tell. I’ve never use knee pads like these before but I have to say they are big. I can see that being handy for those working in thicker pants or having big legs. They are easy to use and comfortable. Haven’t used them but the one time so not sure on durability but feels like they would hold up.

They are comfortable. They don't fall off and they protect my knees on the job. Exactly what I wanted

I have a pair of kneepads issued by the US Army to compare these to. The army kneepads are cloth with foam padding, rubber knee caps, and elastic straps. These are entirely rubber except for the gel padding, including the straps. Both kneepads slip down on me as I walk, but these stay up a little better because the bands are tighter on me. These don't have infinite adjustability. Each strap has three holes on each side for adjustment, so a total of five adjustment stops for each the top and lower straps. This may cause it to be either tight or loose on you.Comfort-wise I'd say they're pretty similar. Both are comfortable and well cushioned. The army ones are a little more breathable. I'd say they're about the same in terms of durability. The failure point on these is probably the strap ends, but I foresee them lasting a long time. These are easier to wash though, being mostly rubber.I'd recommend these and would take whichever costs less.
