This did seem to be the same identical hood to replace my prior one which had developed holes in the screening around the face. The zipper worked perfectly in getting it put back on my bee jacket. The fabric used to make this new veil is a much thinner fabric, making me fear bee stings can penetrate it. Also the screen used on this newer version is much lighter and more flimsy and already looks new out of the box as if it is ready to snag. The prior screening could not have even snagged as it was thick and stiff and durable. It lasted me three years. I fear I will have to handle this newer veil very carefully to get it last even one season.

This replaced the original veil that my Humble Bee jacket came with, perfectly. I love this style so much better than the space suit looking veil. I don't have to wear a cap under the veil anymore! The material of the mesh is also more pliable. Zipping it on was a breeze, took the old one off, zipped this one on and done. The hat fits perfect too.

I had a "fencing" veil that was damaged. I prefer the round as the bees stay further from the face. I zipped the old one off and Zipped the new one on. Perfect solution.

Wrong veil sent; zipped onto our existing jacket fine but there seemed to be a lot of excess fabric around the neck, like it was made for a different jacket.

So I have a humble bee small bee suit, and I order this replacement veil. It arrives and IT DOES NOT ALIGN WITH MY SUIT ZIPPER ENDS! The zipper length to the new veil is smaller than that of my suit. The difference is significant that bees can EASILY get inside no problem and sting my neck.Also there's another veil but it's 20-ST? And this one is 10-ST? What's the difference? What does 10-ST and 20-ST even mean?

Updated review. The zipper on this broke today and I'm very dissapointed. Ibought this as a replacement because my other one had gotten a lot of holes. This fit my humble bee suit perfect. Double zip very smooth zip. The band inside the hat keeps the hat portion in place which holds the veil perfectly off my face at all times. Now its broken after 4 uses and I decreased my rating

Awesome product and company! I do removals in Central Texas in 100°+ temps for 4-8 hours at a time, the ventilated suit is a life saver! I also handle a lot of very aggressive bees, I rarely get stung, far less than I did in my tradition suit!
