Your cart is empty.Check Valves are for use in sprinkler heads that have low head drainage as a problem. The drain check valve keeps lines from draining when the system is shut off. This saves water, reduces liability, and increases system life. To Replace the Drain Check Valve: Remove the internal assembly from the case. Insert the large, irregular shaped end of the Drain Check Valve assembly into the bottom of the riser. The small circular rubber portion of the Drain Check Valve Assembly will remain outside of the riser. Replace the internal assembly and tighten it to the body.

Quick delivery and exactly what was described did receive. Pulled the 6" Hunter sprinkler head (our system was installed in 2006 or so) and pushed into to place at the bottom of the tube. Pushed a second time and it snapped up into place. Reinstalled, turned that zone on /turned off and watched for any trickle of water down or side of house grade... walla, no residual water trickle out. Problem solved. Placed a 2nd order for more zones that are on a slope in our yard. Plus a spare or two. Nice price, simple product design. Would recommend.

Could NOT find this at a local store, and I even tried three of them. Item came one day ahead of schedule. Very easy to install and stopped the water leakage on the low end of my system.

Had low head drainage in several of my Hunter Sprinklers. Added these check valves to all of the sprinklers on lower elevation. No more issues.. now they pop up fully every time they turn on.. keeps the pipes primed. Just wish the sprinklers came with them to start with.

Works well with the hunter pro, stopped the down hill overflow after the sprinklers shut off. Funny that it cost more than the sprinkler unit, but it works.
