Could not find this little used item at any of the large home improvement stores, but SprinklerHut not only had these on hand but shipped them very quickly. They work perfectly. Very impressed with this family-owned and operated business.

The cap was very easy to install and did exactly what I needed it to do. I wanted to temporarily close one sprinkler head for the remainder of this season, and still be able to use it next year. Worked perfectly.

These shut-off nozzles are precisely what I was looking for to cap-off only the inner, pop-up portion of a few of my sprinkler heads. They seem to work fine, and I have already ordered more. In my opinion, these provide a reasonable temporary or semi-permanent answer for people who want to leave their sprinkler heads in place but who either want to cap some off to test other heads or, as I'm doing, cap-off some sprinkers where I don't want to waste water but when I don't yet know if I want to dig and permanently cap them off underground. Note that the inner tube of the sprinklers will still pop up with this part installed, it just won't spray water; if you don't like having the inner tube pop up, you need another solution. This part will be mostly hidden inside the sprinkler head when the water for that particular zone is off; all you will see is the inconspicuous top of the cap. Please note: this part fits wherever a standard spray nozzle is used. Simply unscrew and remove the existing nozzle and put this on in its place. No tools are required and it only takes about 60 seconds to install one.

I needed some of these because the sprinklers in some areas weren't needed. Easy to put on and inexpensive. I'll be buying more because I found out there are more sprinkler heads not needed. Worth the money.

As others have mentioned - This tiny shut off nozzle is a game changer. Perfect and simple and EASY to do. Worked out great in the zone where I have multiple other lines that are in the Northern section with less sunlight from my house shadowing and not drying as quickly and getting too wet. This worked out as a perfect solution.
