This is a pretty nice clamp. It works well, the clamp action is very smooth and even. Mounts easily to my tripod. It holds my rifles well, and the sloped sidewalls should work great with most standard forearms. Not much else to say - this is a nice clamp that works well.

Inexpensive, quick and easy gun clamp. It attaches to any standard tripod just like a camera, telescope or spotting scope.I set it up using my camera tripod and a scoped rifle I needed to sight-in. The gun could be locked into the clamp in a position where it would balance comfortably. The rifle on a tripod makes it a lot easier to steady your aim and reduce the number of shots needed to zero in. Right from the start I was able to make 8-inch groups at 100 yards. The clamp is slightly angled to more conform to the shape of a rifle stock and is rubber padded on the inside and bottom to prevent damage. The clamp is adjusted via a single knob that can hold a balanced rifle securely. The clamp is made of aluminum and seems to be of a high quality in both design and materials. As mentioned, it attaches to your tripod via a quick release and can be easily removed and reattached for transport. The whole setup could easily fit inside small duffle. This is a high quality and useful, rifle and hunting accessory. I can easily recommend.

When this came in the mail for review I was very surprised with how heavy its box was, opening it up and pulling it out of the bag it felt like a truly solid mass of metal, and that is exactly what it is. When I ordered this I was very concerned it would not be able to open up widely enough to fit my Ruger American Hunter with a Magpul body which is very very thick in comparison to other bodies, and it immediately put me at ease as I saw it went CRAZY wide. I mounted it to my body of my gun with no problems at all. This mount is bigger than it looks in the pictures which I honestly think is a good thing, and the rubber pads inside are very strong and I doubt they will slip away. I am VERY pleased with this product and cant wait to try hunting with it. I have no doubt it will do its job in spades.5/5 Amazon Rating, 10/10 Tim Rating.

This mount should be able to handle just about anything I have. It's a big hunk of aluminum with nice soft rubberized insides.Fit and finish is great and frankly overbuilt.Built in arca plate means pretty much universal adaptability for any tripod I have ( I have several).Best part is the screw drive...robust and with a LARGE three headed handle.Won't matter if I have gloves on, I can turn and tighten this easily...same with releasing pressure.I don't need anything more than this so the quality/value here is quite high.Recommended.

I grabbed this saddle since I had an older steel tripod that I haven’t been used in years. I’m wildly impressed with the build quality.Note. In order to adhere to Amazon community guidelines, I’m attaching photos of this saddle without my equipment. But you get the idea of its quality. It has the ability to adjust very wide and lock in place. The saddle padding is thick and rubberized so it grips rifles nicely. The plate was a bit too wide for my specific tripod, but it comes threaded, so all I needed to do was attach my other tripod plate to it and I was in business. It stays tight round after round.

This is a sturdy and competitively well-built mount for holding a rifle on a tripod. It does the job it is intended to do well, is easy to adjust and a good value.

This shooting saddle is much nicer than I expected and a step-up from a Manbily tripod saddle that I already have. It is robust but not too heavy at 17.6-ounces and is made entirely out of metal. It will accommodate most rifles and rails, as it extends from 1.2-inches wide to 2.9-inches wide due to the clearance taken up by the rubber pads. The only issue I have with it is that it won’t accommodate the skinniest of pistols that might be less than 1.2-inches, such as with a micro-9, and no spacer is provided to let you use something that thin. The three-pronged tightening knob and the fact that both jaws move simultaneously is a nice upgrade over my other tripod saddle. The sidewalls are 2-inches tall from the top of the base and they angle slightly inward, which works well on some forends and rails but not necessarily others, and the whole saddle is 3.5-inches long, despite the image on the listing indicating it is only 2.95-inches long. It is lined with protective rigid rubber pads that does a good job of gripping without causing any damage, and the adhesive holding them in place is very strong. The cradle extends and retracts with ease by spinning the knob, which works smoothly and without any issues. I’m impressed that it has not only both size tripod threads on the underside of the unit, for either 3/8-inch or 1/4-inch threads, but also an Arca Swiss quick release plate and it fits great on my shooting tripod; my other tripod clamp does not have the Arca mount. This clamp will work great not only with rifle and pistol firearms, but with air rifles as well, and at around fifty Washingtons, I consider it a good value.
