What you need to know is this switch solders on to attach. And your talking about 4 wires very close together. To make things easier I used crimp on terminals without the insulators and then soldered the wire to the terminals and to the switch. Just eliminated another pair of hands. But works great. Just not the plug n play your expecting when you look at the switch

This was the exact switch that came in the Brute jack. Not your typical on-off-on (momentary) switch, this one has 4 terminals and the wires solder on. Comes with very good detailed instructions on how to disassemble unit to get the switch out to replace.

Has been installed for almost 1year, working great. Installation was easy, the light is very handy, and the white color works well with my white RV.
