Make sure you have the exact model number from husqvarna. Part kinda worked but had to do some creative engineering. Not the products fault. Just need a better cross over guide. Ended up scrapping the lawnmower latter that year do to the deck rusting completely through.

The cable was a bit to long. I had to drill another hole in handle for device to function properly. Maybe I selected the wrong one.

Almost a direct replacement. It's hard to gauge exact part replacements with dozens of models of mowers by the manufacturers. Just had to add a small spacer to make this work.

my original part started to get real difficult to pull which meant. I didnt realize (until i replaced the part) that it had filled with enough dirt to gum it up and cause some minor rust in the actual cable.first it didn't pull clean, then the soldiered connection piece broke, and then all my cheap tie fixes snapped repeatedly. There was not other option, replace the part or replace the mower. fortunately i was able to use the model number and find an old manual online and a parts list. doing an internet search, i found this part that supposedly replace my part. when i opened it, i was initially concerned that it would not fit. Well it did fit. it was a little shorter which i didn't notice till i collapsed the push bars for storage, but with a slight adjustment, it worked out ok. Grabbed it for an old Craftsman from early 2000s, fit like a dream and installed too easy. Wish more purchases went down like this! It did take about 7-10 days for delivery but knew that from the time of order.

Took more time to remove the old part because a pair of pliers was required to squeeze the clip retaining fingers at the engine bracket interface and also needed to cut two zip-ties where the cable was held to the handle- the new part just clipped in with a simple push- I did need to provide two replacement zip-ties that didn't come with the cable - perfect fit - in all, it took about 5 minutes to have my mower up and functioning again

Removed a goofy, non-functional, overly-engineered for the marketing department electric start "system" from my rear wheel drive push lawn mower and replaced the cable, which had broken after 13 years, with this one. A perfect fit, and installation took less than two minutes. Very happy with this inexpensive, high quality cable and I would buy it again, but I think it will outlast the rest of the lawn mower.

Well made for the price, which was very nice! Installation was simple and easy. It has worked perfectly so far. Come spring next year will be the telling time on the durability, though I do not see any problems at this time. The cable is durable and the cover is stout. No complaints at all!

Easy to install and fair priced. The cable is just a tad too long and shuts off the lawn mower as I try to engage my mower.
