I had trouble starting my mower, had to try multiple times to get it to turn over. I could turn the engine manually so I know it wasn't locked up, and I could see the voltage coming to the device. eventually it stopped altogether. replacing the broken part with this part did the trick, now I can mow without fuss or drama.
