Item fit my 2005 Escalade EXT as described in the listing. Part is almost identical to the original OEM part. Comes with the wiring harness as well which is very convenient as the connectors tend to melt on these when the part goes bad. Especially useful in my situation, which I will explain further below.Once I got the current part out of my car, I noticed that the connector on the wiring harness was pain to get off because it was melted. Then when I grabbed this new part I realized it was completely different than the resistor that I had just removed and thought I was sent the wrong part or that it did not match the part number in the listing. However, that was not the case. Someone that worked on this car previously, used a resistor that wasn't even close to the correct part for this car. The wiring harness was different as well and had a different plug on it so they had removed the original harness and spliced in the one that would connect to the incorrect part that they had installed. Which is likely why it had melted and had caused the blower motor to burn out multiple times as well.So, all that being said, I am grateful that the wiring harness was included with this part. If it was not, I would not have been able to plug the resistor in because the last whack job that worked on this car rigged everything together like a psycho and I am surprised it didn't start a fire. Regardless, if you are replacing the resistor, since this comes with the wiring harness, probably a good idea to just replace the old one anyways this way you have a fresh connector and some fresh wires to avoid further complications down the road.Side note, I was just informed that the part previously installed on my car did in fact start a fire at some point...so make sure you use the correct parts! If it is not the correct part, don't find a way to install it anyway....save yourself the trouble down the road, no pun intended.To sum everything up, this part was a perfect fit and works like a charm. Bonus that the wiring harness is included. Highly recommend this Blower Motor Resistor to replace part number 89019089. I do not recommend installing this on any other random vehicle that it is not meant to be installed on if you learn one thing from this review it should be that. Make sure you are installing the right part for your vehicle! Oh and have a great day :)
