It eliminates the drawbacks associated with permanent modifications to your factory pistol. GEN 123 ADAPTER mates completely to the back strap of the frame, permitting the shooter's hand to conform to the frame in a more secure manner. This offers more control and allows the shooter to index the pistol on target more efficiently. *In 2007 and later, produced some pistols (in 9mm and .40 caliber), that have slightly thicker frames than most other GEN 3 pistols. These frames, which have a serial number prefix starting with the letter L (i.e. LXX123), are oversized in diameter at the trigger housing pin location. The GEN 123 ADAPTER will not fit on these oversized frames and cannot be secured using our extended retention pin.

These are copies of the over priced originals. So if you’re interested in putting a dovetail on your Gen 3 and earlier Glock, these are great.Only thing for me is I don’t like the one for the full sized because it has the grooves on it. I like the smaller one style way better. But the originals are like this as well so…

Provides a nice grip / higher up on the back of your glock! Installs perfect. Use the glock tool and a rubber mallet.

Glocks have no room for error on the slide cutting your hand. My hands have very large thenar space and cut the crap out of that area when I first shot my new gun. This beaver tail saved my meat and very easy to install. Thanks!

I bought this because I was getting slide bite from my Glock 19 and knew a bigger beaver tail would help. My initial thought was that it looked cheap when I opened the package, but once I put it on, that changed everything! It felt very comfortable. You wouldn't even notice there is an extra piece there... LOVE IT!!!

The Glock Beaver Tail Adapter was first marketed to accommodate the Glock GEN 4. Since the HWZ brand advertised that the HWZ 2019 Beaver Tail would fit a Glock 22 GEN 3, I purchased this Beaver Tail Adapter. However, this Beaver Tail Adapter does not fit a standard frame Glock 22 GEN 3. Mind you, sanding the inside top area of the Beaver Tail adapter with emery cloth to reduce thickness, along with using some elbow grease, would allow this Beaver Tail Adapter to snugly fit a Glock 22 GEN 3 frame. But this advertised Beaver Tail is not designed to fit the Glock 22 GEN 3 frame.
