Open them up, plop in water, magnetically close, and like that ready for tossing. My kid was excited for these as he thought they would be water balloons and, in all, they were much like them but less waste. He kept asking for a bath after the first time just to get to enjoy them once again, so they were a lot of fun.My concerns that they may hit a bit harder than a water balloon remain, so I'll hold off allowing my toddler enjoy them around his younger sister for awhile to come. They also add magnets to the equation, so I'm more concerned if one is misplaced with making sure it gets picked up. But in all, a lot of fun and very happy to get to enjoy them.

These are a great alternative to water balloons and made my life easier because they can easily be refilled in any bucket of water! We have used similar products in the past and these are comparable to those, just a little bit cheaper than the last set I purchased. This product did have a very strong smell (kind of like paint fumes) when I opened the package, but it dissipated relatively quickly. It is hard to fill these unless you submerge in water. If you fill from the tap you only get one half filled or if you fill both halves you lose water when closing. They are pretty soft when they hit someone, but explode on impact pretty well, even the two year old was able to get enough force to burst it. I love how bright the colors are, they are easy to find in the pool even when they end up on the bottom.

My kiddo and his friends loooove water balloon fights as soon as the pool season opens. While I love watching them have fun, filling up each ballon, going through some accidents during that time and then cleaning up tiny little plastic pieces in and around the pool has been such a chore! Not any more with these awesome reusable ones. I was worried that they might be little stiff -especially around the closure- and hurt them, but once I received them I realized that they're really soft. The magnets provide a good seal (you can check them, since they're air tight, too) and unless they're squeezed too much in the hand, they won't open.... until an impact, of course. We used all 6 for a quick water balloon fight in the backyard and it was fun! With 3 buckets of water around the perimeter, filling them up was instant (dip them in water and close the two halves. Highly recommended if your family is into water balloon fights!

These are very durable, it's still to cold here to utilize them but we tested them out in the tub. They are very easy to fill and they do pop upon hitting your target. I like that they are reusable so no more worries of cleaning up broken balloons or worrying if that small young toddler will try to swallow the balloons. These are made of really nice plastic that has little magnets on each side where they connect the balloon closed. These are the coolest things ever.

I always enjoy a nice water balloon fight in the backyard with my family but I dislike having to pick up the popped water balloon remnants that are left behind on the ground. These reusable water balloons is a great alternative to traditional latex water balloons that has a simple yet genius design. The use of magnets around the mid point of two silicone sphere halves is such a smart design choice. Throw in the ability to simply pop them open quickly for refilling and you have a fantastic more environmentally friendly option for water balloons. These are so soft and pop right away when thrown at someone. The key to filling them quickly and easily is to have a tub of water where you dunk them in, let both halves fill up and close the sphere while underwater. Absolutely terrific product at a great price point.

Once you get the hang of how to fill them properly, these are pretty fun! When we first opened them, we were trying to fill them in the sink and not having much success. Then I looked at the package (which I should have done in the first place) and realized they needed to be submerged to be completely filled. So I filled a bucket, took them outside, and let my kids have at it. They had a blast! They asked me to order a few more packs so they wouldn't have to "venture into enemy territory" as often to grab their balloons and refill them. All in all, I'd say these are a win! They would also make great easter basket presents.

These are a great alternative to water balloons, but I definitely wouldn't use these around young kids. Any toys with magnets shouldn't be used because of the dangers of ingestion. If you have older kids, these are great. My kids have been using them at the indoor pool and love them. I love that that they're reusable and don't create waste.
