I've used these for fixing tomatoes to stakes for 3 years now. Easy to use, just cut the length you need, and twist. They hold very well. They can be reused.

Use some imagination, watch some videoes. This stuff is a little like Duct tape. It can dang near do it all, without getting filthy and discolored, and its easy to bend, twist, tie, cut. I'll get more when the time comes. I have looped around plant pots so that other ties can be looped through them in an attempt to keep branches growing low. Dandy stuff.

Does its job just fineWish the rubber wouldn't slide off the metal wire after you cut to size.Thicker gauge wire would make it easier to push into dirt.

Product is soft, easy to cut, yet encased to make it strong enough to tie my heavy kiwi vines to 2x4 lateral cross supports on pergola. Also used for training arched/bent climbing rose canes back on themselves at the base - referred to in Fine Gardening as self-pegging. The tie does not cut into the plant. Outstanding product.

I ordered this mistakenly thinking it was "just" soft plastic. In fact there is a metal wire running through the centre which is then covered by thick squidgy plastic so as not to damage plants (other makes have a metal wire covered only by a thin layer of hard plastic - not nearly so good!). The result is a very strong tie, great to work with but still soft and pliable. At £3.49 for 8 metres I reckon it is good value for money.

È tutto ottimo, il fil di ferro è ricoperto di un materiale morbido che non reca danni alle piante. L'unica pecca è che il filo all'interno della guaina sfila facilmente dalla guaina stessa..

This is satisfactory tie material, but it is lightweight and doesn't hold tomato plants as good as the medium weight but one can get 3x as much for the same price, so this is probably the best deal. Just make sure to cut it long and twist the end together and you won't have any problems

I used this product to bend and train my plants to get more light. You can attach directly to the branch and anchor it down to the pot or to a stake. This product works great. It is much better than trying twine around tiny plant stems, and much easier to remove too. The best part is that it is re-usable again and again. You will have to cut it into the size lengths you will need for the job. But the wire inside is thin enough to cut with household scissors.Good stuff guys. Wish I started using this along time ago.

These are the perfect for training my plants! They are strong enough to pull down large branches but soft enough not to cause any damage. Will be getting more.

Extremely soft while still containing a strong enough wire to securely hold your plants. Was perfect for keeping the taller branches of my indoor plant upright.

Although this is for tying up plants, I have yet to use it for that. Because of its size it works well for other tasks in the garden and out. First of all I like that the wire and covering seem more firmly bonded together than other covered wire I've used. This seems to make it easier to work with and less chance of the wire poking out the end where it can end up poking me.In my office I use it for holding coiled cords together. I have a number that hook various gadgets to the computer when they need to be synced, charged, photos uploaded, scanned or whatever. I roll their cords up and secure them with a length of this wire when not in use. Keeps my drawer neater and it's easier to extract the cord I want. In the kitchen some electric gadgets have longer cords than needed to reach the outlet. I coil and secure the excess so it's out of the way. Same with the battery chargers for my various battery powered tools. Besides cord containment, I find there are plenty of other things that are easier to deal with when grouped and secured together temporarily. For example, when I pack away winter shirts and pants that are normally hung up, I'm left with lots of empty hangers I don't need in summer. They are better behaved when I wrap a length of this wire around them until I need them again. When I prepared my vegetable gardens this spring I added trellises in different places for vine type plants and those that can be trained to go up rather than take up precious ground space. I used this wire to link multiple ones together to give them stability. Worked great. Because the wire with coating is pretty slender, I could easily cut it with my multi-tool wire cutter. As the plants grow, I'll use the wire as intended to get the plants trained and secure on the intended trellis. Same deal with the chicken wire I put around a new shrub to protect it from deer until it's gotten bigger. I created a tube of the chicken wire that encircles the plant and even hooked the temporary enclosure to the fence to give it more stability.I've used several kinds of coated wire for gardening and other purposes and find this the most versatile.
