Overheating protection

When the water temperature exceeds 94 degrees Fahrenheit or 34 degrees Celsius, the dual temperature probes built into the heating rod will immediately sense the current temperature and automatically stop heating to prevent the fish from cooking. At this time, the controller simultaneously displays the error code "HH" and flashes "Hi" to remind the owner. Protect your aquatic pets.

Low temperature protection

When the temperature probe detects that the water temperature is lower than 59°F or 15°C, the heater will automatically heat, and the controller will sound an audible alarm reminder, while displaying "LL" and flashing "Low" error codes until the water temperature exceeds 59 °F.

Anti-dry operation function

When the heater temperature sensor detects water shortage, the heater will automatically stop heating to avoid dry burning. At the same time, the controller will sound an audible alarm, the current temperature position will display "L1" error code, and "Auto Off" will flash. Avoid fire.

Note: When changing the water, please unplug the power first and wait for the heating rod to cool down for a period of time before taking it out of the water. Avoid burning yourself with residual heat from the heating rod or melting the shell.

This heater works great I love the LCD display. It took several hours to bring my 63 degree well water up to 79 degrees but it maintains that temperature with no issues. The 800w is probably what I should have went with, but so far this one is great.

We have a few Hygger equipment for our 125 gal saltwater aquarium. This heater is just as excellent as the rest of their products. We use it in conjunction with a titanium heater to keep the temperature as accurate as possible with as little deviation as possible. This heater being added has done the trick and we have had no trouble with it at all. The controller works very well, as well.
